Gwinnett County took another step through federal procedures toward possibly privatizing the Briscoe Field airport in Lawrenceville, Ga.
The metro Atlanta county on Thursday issued a request for qualifications for firms interested in entering into a public-private partnership to operate Briscoe Field.
